Confession of a scrapbooker. I had great plans... Confession of a scrapbooker. I had great plans... so many great plans to work on this project, but I feel like it was meant to start this weekend. Seriously loving the #StopTheBlur classes by @heidiswapp - it’s helped me break out of my comfort zone that I so desperately needed. Although, still in my true form, it took me a long time to finish this page, but I tried hard to push myself creatively and just take a chance! Can’t wait to get into it more as the week progresses. Extra win: I printed the sticker photo templates right and I’m loving them for this project!
This guy right here - I am beyond grateful for him This guy right here - I am beyond grateful for him! He puts up with all of my nonsense, crazy ideas, YNAB budgeting, and supports me in whatever I am doing. He is such an amazing dad and not afraid to change those dirty diapers, give baths, and learn how to blow dry Zoey’s hair! He sacrifices a lot for our family. I’m along for his ride too, supporting him, and of course, our annual White Castle Valentine’s Day dinner. He is my favorite person 💕 (P.S. his shirt is from his parents 🤣 perfect for the White Castle V-Day dates!) #GiveThanks
I’m grateful for my Grama. She passed away a co I’m grateful for my Grama. She passed away a couple years ago and not a single day has gone by that I don’t think about her. She was the matriarch of our family, the glue that held everyone together. The kindest, sweetest, most loving, selfless woman that I have ever known. She loved having all her grandchildren and great grandchildren around her. I have so many memories of being at her house, playing with cousins, her making us snacks or Sunday dinners. Hugs and laughing until you cry. And love, so much love ♥️ and as an adult and mom, I still felt that love and comfort being around her. I only hope to be the kind of mother and grandmother that she was - that would be success in life to me. Oh how I miss her so, but how grateful I am to have had her in my life for so many years 💕 I love you Grama 💕 #givethanks
I am so grateful for my two wild and rambunctious I am so grateful for my two wild and rambunctious kids. Man do these two keep us on our toes, but seeing the love they have for each other melts my heart. I know there will be fighting, but I hope they can always remain close as they grow older. I always wanted a sister, but to watch the relationship these two have fills up my heart #givethanks
I am so thankful for our family’s love of games. I am so thankful for our family’s love of games. I always played them growing up and have so many memories of my childhood playing board games and card games. Because to me, games = Family Time, and it is one of my favorite ways to spend time together. And now as Zoey is getting older we can teach her so many more games and create new memories!! #GiveThanks
Stepping out into this next stage of life. It’s Stepping out into this next stage of life. It’s uncharted territory for us, a new adventure, and to be honest it’s a bag of mixed emotions. But isn’t this the same feeling we all have right now? Imagine the stories that will be told about this “era” of our lives. What are you contributing to that story for your personal family memories? Yesterday was World Photography Day and I totally missed it, but that doesn’t mean I still can’t take part and remind us all that our photographs tell a story, evoke emotion, bring up memories of a time long gone. When you look at pictures, what do you remember? Are you reminded of a smell, sound, feeling, story, or nostalgia of a certain time in your life? Take more photos. Good, bad, or ugly. Write down your stories. And print your photos. We must tell the stories of our own history.
